This trek is a longer alternative of the traditional route from Manali to The Chandra Valley.
It extends the original trek by 3 days and offers a good training for, high altitude treks.
One can extend this trek to Baralacha La in Lahaul towards Zanskar Valley.

Trek Details

Day 1: Vashisht to Settan
Day 2: Settan camp to Chikha
Day 3: Chikha to Bhalu ka Kera
Day 4: Bhalu Ka Kera over Hamta Pass to Silliguri
Day 5: Silliguri to Chatru
Day 6: Chatru to Batal
Day 7: Batal to Chandra Tal
Day 8: Chandra Tal to Manali

Best Season: Mid-June until Mid-September
