For the last 17 years we have trekked across Indian Himalayas and organized many peak expeditions in various regions. This allows us to organize all kinds of expeditions, moderate or advanced, mainly in the Indian Himalayas. We are able to provide all kinds of services required to set up in a proper professional manner a mountaineering expedition.

TRA has developed top-level expertise in providing logistic and organizational support in the highly specialized field of mountaineering expeditions in the Himalayan region. This has given us extreme confidence to handle any support service you may require!

  • Food & catering: As we are a French company, we give special attention to the hygienic aspect of the food, especially at all base camps and some advance camps.  Our special strength is the food at base camp and during the approach march, which is not only hygienically prepared but also comparable in taste and variety to any first-class restaurant.
  • Assistance in booking the peak on your behalf with Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF), liaison with I.M.F. and other government agencies.
  • Custom clearance of unaccompanied baggage at the time of arrival and departure of the expedition team.
  • Transportation of members and equipment from airport to the hotel, and to the last roadhead and back.
  • Booking Hotel accommodation in Delhi or any other city suiting your budget.
  • Assistance in making purchases such as food articles, cooking gas, oil, etc., in Delhi or any other place in India.
  • Hiring of porters, mules, yaks, high altitude porters, cooks, Sherpas and helpers, etc.
  • Provide porters’ equipment
  • Transport and storage of equipment in our store.
  • Rental of equipment. TRA is the « Sole » distributor of world-famous brands, manufacturer of mountaineering equipment  like Beal, Camp, Cassin, and vertical extreme clothing.  This allows TRA to rent or supply any kind of equipment needs in the Himalayas, from our Manali go-down.
  • Liaison officer and local guide: On your request you can hire a local mountain guide or a liaison officer recognized by IMF.
